This past weekend we had to amazing weddings! Despite all the rain they both were a blast to be a part of and absolutely beautiful. If you missed Friday’s wedding, head to the previous post after this one. 

Heather & Matthew are sweet as can be. Their love story is amazing and being a part of their wedding day was such a blessing. When Heather first met Matthew it was at church, she had saw him dedicate his life to Christ and be baptized and she new she wanted a man like that. Little did she know she would be marrying him just a few short years later. The Lord works is such cool ways! On the wedding day, Heather was absolutely beautiful. Back when we did their engagement pictures it was the winter and we had tons of snow. They braved the cold and snow then and now on their wedding day it was raining and cold. I felt so bad, but I promised them one of these days they would have pictures taken on a sunny warm evening! 🙂 They were troopers and never complained. We took advantage of the coverings and all the times it wasn’t raining.

The reception was just a blast! There were surprise after surprise. The bridal party and groom put on a surprise dance on for the bride. It was awesome! Then the groom’s brother was being deployed right before their wedding day and wasn’t able to make. He had sent a video, but little did he know or his family, that the hurricane had delayed them leaving and he was able to surprise his brother at the reception. It was AMAZING! I was shooting and crying all at the same time. So rain on their wedding day and that nasty hurricane was a blessing in disguised. (You won’t want to miss the priceless pictures!)
