So.. I tried to post this Friday, but my website was down and we were off to a wedding so I couldn’t try to get it up later. Sad day. But I still so badly wanted to share with you all our trip 2 weeks ago to DC and Virginia with our friends, Ashley & Tyler! You have seen a lot of them lately, we have been planning trips and its been so fun. We seriously LOVE these two and have become the best of buds. 

When Ashley & Ty were in town back in March, Ash and I were chatting and thought oh lets plan another fun trip before busy season totally hits! We started looking up plane tickets and we found super cheap tickets to fly To DC and back. We talked to our hubby’s and we made the trip happen. I am so glad we did! We had SO much fun with these two. Ashley had it all planned out. It couldn’t have been more fun. We spent all day Monday, when we arrived in D.C. I hadn’t been to D.C. in years. We toured all around and of course we saw Lincoln. My favorite. It was a beautiful day. That evening we traveled out to Ashley’s hometown in Goshen, Virginia. She grew up in small town and we wanted to experience it all! We had so much fun out there. We hiked Big House Mountain on Tuesday. Friends, I am OUT OF SHAPE. That is for sure. My working out definitely faded back in March, so I was definitely out of shape. We hiked this mountain and I may have struggled to get to the top but when we did it was AMAZING. Seriously amazing. The views were unreal. Thank you Ash for pushing us to the top! It was so worth it. Next time, I will try to be in better shape 😉 We spent that evening with friends Buddy & Jill out at their place, Big Spring Farm. Oh guys, this place is amazing. Seriously, so so beautiful! The wedding venue is amazing along with their home. We loved getting to know them and spending the evening with them. We can hardly wait to go back. 

Wednesday, we headed back to Richmond, where Ash & Ty currently live. On our way, we stopped at a few of their favorite wedding venues. Pippin Farms was absolutely beautiful. It would be a dream to shoot there some day. It was so fun seeing all their favorite spots in Charlottesville, Virginia as well! We ate some seriously GOOD food. Once we made it back We enjoyed a night home relaxing after a busy few days. Thursday we also relaxed and cooked out with Katelyn & Michael. It was great seeing them and catching up. Oh it was a blast of few days!!!
