Last week, before we headed to Florida, Trev and I made a trip up to Lake Erie, where we met up with Jessica & Dustin in the evening for their engagement session. It was the perfect night up there. Not to hot and the light was gorgeous. 

I have known Jessica since elementary school. We went to school at Maranatha together for a few years, before we all went our separate ways. When I received an email about her wedding, I was so excited! I always love getting to photograph friends of mine. We started talking about their wedding and all the excitement around it. I had never met Dustin until their engagement sessions, so it was so fun getting to know these two together. 

They have been dating for 5 years and met back in the beginning of College in one of their science classes. They both are aquatic biologist. They love the water and anything living in it. They always spend their weekends fishing or down at the lake, so it was only fitting to do their engagement session near there. I am so excited for the summer wedding next June! They will be getting married at the Toledo Zoo, how cool is that?! It is going to be great!
