Destination Florida Wedding at the Vue on 30a
Ever since I have known Erin, she has alway talked about when she got married she would have a destination wedding on the beach. Well dreams do come true 🙂
Erin & Justin have been together for 5 years and I have known them their whole relationship. I met these two in College my sophomore year at Campus Crusade for Christ, aka CRU. Erin included me in her friends group, since I was the new one on the block and I spent a summer in Venezuela with Justin and an amazing group of people on a missions trip. Soon after that trip Erin & Justin began to date. They dated through college, Justin stinting a year in Venezuela, and through Erin’s grad school. They waited for the perfect time and this past Friday their day finally came. A year and a half ago, when Erin reached out to me letting me know she was engaged, she said we are getting married in Florida! I was so excited. I knew this is what she had always wanted. Over the next year they planned while she finished up grad school. Trevor & I had been looking forward to this wedding for some time.
When we arrived last week in Florida a huge storm was at sea bringing so much rain. We prayed all week the rain would clear out for their beach wedding. They were getting married at Santa Rosa beach at a venue called the Vue on 30a. Friday came and it was a rainy morning, but by the time we got out to do their first look it finally tappered off so we thought, but10 minutes later it started again. We decided to wait it out 15 minutes because we saw a clearing. Thank the Lord it cleared up for us to get the 1st look in and some portraits, the rain came again and we waited it out another 10 minutes, and this time it cleared for good! We snapped so many photos in such a short time because we weren’t sure what the weather was going to do. Thank you Erin & Justin and the bridal party for being such troopers and not complaining one bit. It was an amazing day!
Erin’s dreams of a beach wedding came to life. It was the perfect night, the sun snuck out a touch for the ceremony and their was a nice breeze. It was never to hot. It was the perfect day for these two.
