Canopy Creek Farm 

We ended our 7 weekend stretch of weddings with the Beautiful Emily & Jonny’s wedding at Canopy Creek Farm. Trevor & I have been so excited for this day, since we met Denise, Emily’s mom a year and a half ago at one of our weddings. She told of her daughter who would be getting engaged soon and how they wanted us to capture their day. I was so excited to meet Emily. Fast forward a few months, Emily was engaged and we were shooting her engagement photos. These two are so sweet, genuine and have a huge heart for the Lord. I have loved getting to know them over the last year of planning for their wedding day. Early this summer, this dear family experience a real heart break when Emily’s brother suddenly passed away. In honor of him they had his fingerprint engraved on a charm to wrap about Emily’s bouquet and had a memorial table for him. It was so special. Their day was nothing short of beautiful. We were blessed with the most gorgeous October day you could have asked for. Not a cloud in the sky. Emily & Jonny shared a first look and it was full of smiles. Emily was stunning. They were surrounded by their friends and family to celebrate with them as they start their new life together. 

I loved all the details of this day from the invitation suite created by the amazing Ivory House designs, to the color scheme, to Emily’s gorgeous gown, to the amazing flowers and then of course one of the sweetest couples. Thank you Emily & Jonny for having us capture your day! It was such an honor to be a part of. Now, we really cant wait to have a doggie play date when you return from Hawaii 😉
