Last week we spent the week in Hilton Head, with my wonderful family! Oh it was a blast!!!! We enjoyed each moment. Nothing better then soaking up the sun, playing in the pool, laying at the beach, and eating lots and lots of food. We have been taking a family vacation for as long as I can remember. My parents started this on their honeymoon 30 years ago. Each year, we look forward to that summer vacation. Now as our families are growing and more and more kids are added its becoming even better.

We stayed in Harbour Town, which is one of my favorite places on the island. I love the shops and the boardwalk you can walk too. There are also amazing sunsets here! We spent an evening down here on the beach at sunset and it was gorgeous. The kiddos were loving through shells and looking for dolphins. We are so thankful our parents started this tradition and I hope for the years to come we continue to go. 

Shannon, my sister brought all these blow up floats for the pool. It was crazy! You won’t miss them below, they are bright and HUGE! ALL The kids loved them at the pool, it was a hit. 

Of course we had to take advantage of the sandy beaches and palm trees, so I took some portraits of my sister and brothers family along with my parents. They snapped a few of Trev and I as well. Enjoy many favorites from our trip! We cant wait to go back next year!!

oh and P.S. All images below were taken with our newest lens the 24-70mm 2.8 I don’t normally use zoom lens, but wanted to only have to take 1 lens on trips and it was PERFECT! Even the portrait photos were taken with it. It is a great lens to travel with!!!! 

Happy Friday friends! We will be out shooting a wedding tomorrow and an engagement session on Sunday!
