Anybody who knows Kari and follows her blog has probably seen my picture a hundred times! I am finally breaking my silence and taking over her blog today!
First of all, let me just say that my wife is awesome. She is committed to God, runs an amazing photography business, is a registered respiratory therapist, and manages to keep our place looking good and puts food on the table for me day in and day out. She’s the bomb.
Kari and I are fast approaching four months of marriage. Those four months have seen a lot of changes for us! One of those changes was my introduction to videography. Kari has been showing me my way around a camera for over a year now and I really enjoy being able to shoot with her. But the first time I picked up a DSLR, I had no idea that you could shoot such powerful video with one. When her younger sister got married earlier this summer Kari thought it would be cool if her and I could capture some video since there wasn’t a hired videographer there. We did some filming in between our duties of being a groomsmen and maid of honor! After we got home we watched back the video and we were surprised with ourselves when we saw what we had captured. There was some shaky video and a few rookie mistakes but for our first go it wasn’t too bad! We pieced together a highlight film and I have been hooked since! (check it out here –> Morgan + Michael | Wedding Highlights) Much in the same way that my wife has fallen in love with capturing people’s most memorable moments through stills, I have fallen in love with capturing those moments through video.
So today, I am taking over her blog to announce the start of Trevor Bowman Productions. I will now be offering film services and together, Kari and I will be offering special packages for her brides. I will be offering Wedding highlight films, Wedding feature films, Engagement sneak peaks and custom films for those looking for something unique.
Any booking inquiries or general questions can be sent to trevorbowmanproductions@gmail.com. Pricing starts at $900. Here is a look at a few of videos that I have done recently. Enjoy!

Dearest Trevor – wow – isn’t God amazing!!! He certainly had a very special plan bringing you and Kari together!!!I am one of Kari’s followers from the other side of the world – Adelaide Australia…I have loved following her journey and then yours together!!! I have watched your videos and think they are amazing…still photos are precious to any wedding couple – but a video really does complete the package. Every year on our anniversary we watch our wedding video with our 2 sons – okay they think it is a bit lame now that they are 16 and 18 haha – but we laugh at the fashions and hair do’s from 20 years ago and I still shed a tear hearing the speech my husband and father made at the reception…we relive and treasure the day all over again and it helps us get through the next year of ups and downs…so I wish you all the very best in your new company – I know your work together with Kari’s will continue to bless many many people!!!!
God Bless you both…Tracy

Absolutely – judging by your romantic honeymoon adventure I think you’d both love The Great Barrier Reef in Queensland or Bondi Beach and Climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge and photographing The Opera House in Sydney and stroking Koala’s and Kangaroos at the Australia Zoo and sleeping beneath the stars to catch the sunrise hitting the sacred Aboriginal Uluru red mountain in the Outback – perhaps a camel ride and visit to the underground hotels at the Opel mine town of Coober Pedi in the outback – touring the beautiful Barossa Wine region of Adelaide or going to one of the many shows during the Theatre Festivals…how am I going on my sales pitch for OZ? – and to think I’m from Africa ha ha – Zimbabwe for my first 13 yrs and then South Africa till I was 21 and then London for 6 years during which time I visited your beautiful country a few times and ABSOLUTELY loved it and then to Oz in 2006 – ask my sisters – American and Irish accents – my best ha-ha….although I smile now with my boys adopting a bit of an Aussie twang…my dream is that they too will get to travel this wide and wonderful world – my eldest son just came back from snow boarding in the mountains of the South island of New Zealand – in Queenstown – so if you enjoy the snow there is another option to dream about…okay back to reality – lots of love from Down Under!!!
