Sometimes you just need a night away unplugging and enjoying the nature that surrounds!

That is exactly what we did on Monday night with our good friends come Columbus, Amanda & Jeremy. We love these two and are so thankful for our friendship with them. They are also wedding photographers that work together. We always enjoy our time with them talking about life, struggles, and business. We saw them last week and talked about getting together because it had been to long. We found a night open on our calendars and we decided to get together! We had talked about going camping before and we figured whens a better time then now. It was the perfect night. Storms were suppose to be around all evening long, but the skies cleared and it was a gorgeous evening. It did rain around 3am but there isn’t anything better then hearing the rain hit the tent. Guys! Wanna know something crazy, I had never gone camping until last summer and now I love it. There is something SO peaceful and relaxing. It is like you are escaping the business of life and get to soak in the beautiful creation God has given us with no distractions. I think we all need that peace and quiet every now and then. Trev and I love coming up to his family’s land and camping here. We are so grateful that Jeremy & Amanda were able to make the trip with us. 

A few essentials when you are camping is bring LOTS OF DRINKS! We had so many and it was perfect. We also made yummy hot dots over the fire (my favorite of course), and pie irons. Don’t forget that bug spray either and lots of fire wood. We had a great night relaxing and talking. We cant wait to head back out again.
