Family Weekend

What a great last few days it has been! We are home this morning, still in our PJ’s snuggled on the couch, catching upon emails and editing. We may slip away later today to grab a christmas tree, but for now we are enjoying this slow morning after a great last few days in Columbus with family! 

It all started Wednesday, when family all started arriving to Columbus from all over. My mom’s side of the family has gotten together for YEARS for thanksgiving. We had 48 people on thanksgiving day that my momma cooked for. She is amazing!! Thank you Momma for all you do!!! 🙂 We had an absolute eating and laughing and talking so much. It is so fun to see our families continue to grow. Thursday night, after the thanksgiving meal we did some Black Friday shopping before heading back home. It was a successful night. Friday, we headed to Trev’s parents hours for thanksgiving! We spent the day relaxing and eating. It was so nice. I love thanksgiving food. It is seriously my favorites, I ate so much the last few days. But it was so worth it 😉 We headed back to Columbus Friday evening for a progressive dinner my family was doing between 4 houses. Then of course Saturday, was the big game! The guys all enjoyed watching it while the girls hung out and went shopping. It was a great Saturday. We finally came home Saturday night and have been home since 🙂 We had a blast this week but thankful for a day of rest. We spent Sunday home and had our friends come up from Dayton for the day. It was a great weekend. I am so excited for this time of year!!!! I cant wait to get the Christmas tree up and start wrapping all the gifts.
