Weekend in Columbus

HI friends! It has been a while! I missed a WHOLE week last week. Not normal for me I know, I got sick and it put me down for a few days. Then I had planned some time off to spend with my family. So no blogs happened. But its all okay 🙂 I am still here!!

While my hubby has been away skiing in the mountains of California and Utah with his college buddies, I have been hanging down in Columbus with my family. It has been a fun few days here!! I moved in with Shannon, while Jeff was away at a conference to help with the kiddos. They are so cute! I had a sleeping buddy each night. I sure do love being an auntie! 

Saturday, I shot for the Direction in the short north. I actually had to take my jacket off because I was WARM! 60’s in January, I’ll take it 🙂 It was such a fun shoot! It has been so fun getting to know Andrea and Erin. I love their t-shirts and shooting for them is such a fun outlet. Saturday, I also got to go see my nieces in gymnastic and Ballet. They are to cute for words! I spent the rest of the day hanging with them and then went over to my brother’s house and hung with his two kiddos. Did I mention I love being an aunt?! It’s the best. I am thankful for this little vacation down here to spend with my family. Even though I worked some of the days, it was nice to not have anything on the other days. I know I am only an hour and a half away, but I don’t always get to hang and spend time with them because It is usually a short visit. This was so nice 🙂 

Sunday, we kicked off our first 2017 wedding with Kim & Mick! Kim has been a dear friend of our family for years. We have prayed for the man she was to marry and it was such an honor to be a part of their day by capturing it. Their wedding will be on the blog on Wednesday! 

Finally, trying to get back to the ol grind of work. I have some shoots to edit and emails to catch up on. Happy Monday friends!!!
