A Marine and a Red headed Elsa 

Early this year we did their engagement photos right in the dead of winter. We got a gorgeous day, the light was amazing but there was no green because of it being winter. However, it was one of my favorites shoots in the winter. You can check it out here! Fast forward to their wedding day on Saturday, everything was green and the light was gorgeous yet again. It couldnt have been a more beautiful morning for Kristi & Tim to say their I do’s and become husband and wife. 

When we arrived at the hotel in the morning, it was peaceful and quite. Kristi was getting her hair done and her bridesmaids were making their way to the room. Kristi was stunning from the moment we walked it. She is one of the sweetest and most tender person you would ever meet. She had the wedding butterflies but just beamed with excitement for the day ahead. We told her she looked like a red headed Elsa. She was gorgeous!!! She picked a beautiful dress, it was perfect for the day. After we got her dressed we headed to Hoover YMCA where the ceremony and reception were going to be. The flowers arrived, this was one of Kristi’s favorite things of her day. She had dreamed of gorgeous whimsical flowers and that is exactly what she got!! Madison House Flowers did all the bouquets and center pieces. They were to die for seriously, Lynette You killed it!!! Kristi was practically in tears when she saw her bouquet, it was exactly what she wanted.  Tim wore his blues, he served in the marines for many years and was deployed during his time. Thank you Tim for serving our country. We are truly grateful for people like him. 

Kristi & Tim shared their first look on a bridge in the woods. It was SOO dreamy, seriously. Their first look was the sweetest, tears and so much joy. I loved capturing these two. Kristi gave us so much time for portraits, so we shot away. After the ceremony they had a brunch with all of their guest, I love morning weddings. It was so relaxed and chill. Soon after lunch the Jeni’s ice cream truck arrived. This was another favorite things Kristi & Tim loved. We even did their engagement shoots in a Jeni’s ice cream shop. It only made sense to have it at their wedding. This was a huge hit, everyone loved it. We snuck back out for more photos of the two of them. It was such a gorgeous day. Thank you Krisit & Tim for having us a part of your wedding day. It was simply beautiful. 

These two are off explore Europe for their honeymoon! SO jealous 🙂 Enjoy the many favorites from their day. SORRY for all the flower pictures 😉
