Community Over Competition

I am BEYOND excited to be a part of such a wonderful movement of people! Natalie Franke wrote a blog post a few months ago about being a community with other photographers, designers, small business owners instead of competitors. It was an amazing blog and I LOVED her heart behind it!

Why compete with the person next to you when you can encourage, build up and becoming a community of helping others instead?

Natalie & Krista Jones have collaborated and worked together to build a movement of people who believe in this. They have come up with The Rising Tide Society, to help people to grow and thrive with one another in their community! I am behind them 100% and so excited to be a part of this movement! We want you to join us!

They have come up with #TuesdaysTogether gatherings. These get together will be the 1st Tuesday of every month. I am so excited to be leading along side some amazing photographers and creative. The 1st one is May 5th! (Next Tuesday!) I am leading over the Columbus, Ohio area and SUPER excited to start connecting with other photographers, small business owners, and creatives from here on a regular basis!

Working from home and running your own business can be lonely at times, so this will be great way to get out and come and connect with others who have the same passions as you! We want to be a Community!

Our meet up will be May 5th from 10am-12p at Fox and the Snow Cafe in downtown Columbus.
1031 N 4th St, Columbus, Ohio

Please share the word! I am so excited to see some of you next week!!!

I love this! On my list of “to make this business work” is to start getting to know other photographers in the area. I absolutely love the idea of community support and helping everyone grow. We are out of town for a few weeks, but hope to be at one of these soon!!
