Congrats to the newlyweds Brandlyn + Jacob!

Saturday was another beautiful wedding day. I was so looking forward to this wedding day. Brandy & Jake were so fun to do their engagement pictures with, I knew their wedding day would be just as awesome. The nasty Ohio weather was going to hit once again on this Saturday, but thankfully Jake & Brandy were awesome and just went with it. Right before the 1st look I looked at Brandy and asked if she was okay to walk outside (in her wedding dress) in the rain with a clear umbrella to the wood. She looked at me and said, lets give it a shot. I told her to trust me it would be worth it and amazing. Sure enough it was gorgeous! Despite that rain that was coming down and the fact I broke my own umbrella (the thorn bush won) It was so beautiful. Who knew taking pictures in the rain could be so romantic. These two were just awesome. They enjoyed their first look and even stayed out for some portraits. It was SO worth it!! THANK you Jacob & Brandy for being AMAZING and trusting us!! The rain began to pick up so we went to the one spot outside where there was a overhang. Everything turned out so beautiful. This awesome couple once again went back in the rain for a few more portraits, and they are some of my FAVORITES. One thing I have learned this year is that it rains ALOT on wedding days, like a I feel like half my weddings it was raining, and when I look back I love each and everyone one of those weddings. We didn’t let the rain win this year and I am so thankful to be more confident shooting in the rain. 

Brandy & Jacob’s rest of their wedding day went smoothly and was so fun. I loved celebrating with them and hearing their toasts and watching them just love each other so well. They even snuck out after the rain in the dark for some off camera portraits (this is something out of my comfort zone) and it was a blast and I think they turned out great! So you will see something I don’t normally do, but it was so worth it!!
