Barns, woods, & Open Roads

Oh, I have been SO excited to share with you this engagement shoot from the weekend! Saturday started as an ugly snowy/rainy winter day but ended like a beautiful sunny spring day. I am so thankful we kept this day to shoot! I have so many favorite images to share with you! 

First, lets meet Meet Emily & Jonny! Another amazing 2016 couple. We can hardly wait for their fall wedding. Not only do we get to photograph their wedding day but we also get to film their wedding day! It is going to be beautiful.  These two met online and have been together for over a year. They got engaged this past fall at Jonny’s house where he had set up lanterns and lights. It was intimate, cozy, and sweet. Emily emailed me once they were engaged to officially book us for photos. I was so honored and excited! I had met her mom at a wedding we were photographing earlier last fall. I was so excited to hear they were engagement and that they had chosen us to be a part of their day. I couldn’t wait to meet them in person! 

It was so nice getting to know them in person on Saturday finally!! I knew Emily & I would hit it off just through our emails back and forth. Emily & Jonny are the cutest and so so sweet together. They made taking photos so easy. They caught onto posing in just a few short minutes and it was a breeze from there. We wanted country pictures, so they traveled up to Harpster. We found old barns, open roads, woods, and some tall grasses to shoot in. Thankfully it wasn’t to wet and the sun was coming out! It couldn’t have been better. You never know what you will get in March, but this was just perfect. You can’t deny their love for one another. It was so sweet. I have so many favorites to share with you. I hope you love them as much as I do!! Oh and Emily you are going to make one beautiful bride!!
