Ames, Iowa

This past Sunday, my sister in law Hannah and I drove out to Iowa to surprise our friends. Over a coffee date earlier this summer, Hannah and I got talking. She mentioned she wanted to visit her friends and they lived in Iowa, I quickly chimed in. where?!? Lets road trip!!! My college best friend Erica, lived in Ames, and Hannah’s two college friends lived in Des Moine, not longer then 30 minutes from each other. We quickly found dates and marked them on our calendars. 

It was such a blast getting to surprise  Erica, she had no Idea. It was so fun getting to spend the week with her watching her be an amazing momma and catching up on life. 

I am so thankful for our friendship over the years and how it has cqninutally grown even though we are 9 hours apart. 

The last night I was there we snuck out for some family/ maternity photos. It looked pretty overcast at first but the sun came out at the end and it turned out to be beautiful. Erica you are gorgeous and so is your family. I love you 4 dearly!!! Cant wait to meet your new little boy next time.
