Personal

Hello Monday! Oh friends, what a GORGEOUS weekend we had! I think I have said this a hundred times, I am LOVING this weather. Warmer weather, sun on my face and being able to be outside, make my heart so happy. This weekend originally called for storms but it cleared out and was beautiful, thank you Jesus 🙂

Friday night, Trev and I headed to Columbus to go out to dinner with the family to celebrate his birthday. Who doesn’t love outback!! It is one of our favorites. We then to my parents church for the Good Friday service. This was the church I grew up in and it was so good to be back and see so many familiar faces. Maranatha will always have a special place in my heart! Of course after service we found some ice cream to finish off a wonderful day. I spent the night with my nieces and Trevor headed home, we both had to work on Saturday. I had shoots in Columbus and he had to work on the farm in Harpster.

Saturday, thankfully the clouds cleared and we had a perfect day for Spring minis!! I had 5 sweet families come out and have their photos done. All people I knew and it was so great to catch up with them. One sweet family brought baby Bowman its first little baby book. I couldn’t stop smiling. Their is a sneak peek of each family below. Later that evening I photographed a maternity session of another past client. You guys might remember Rachel & Adam, I shot their wedding down in Miami and have done their photos since! Dear friends of ours and I couldn’t be more excited for them as they are expecting their first little one in the next month or so! P.S. isnt Rachel have the cutest little bump?!

Then Sunday came! It was Resurrection Sunday, Happy Easter 🙂 He is Risen and Alive in deed!! Such a wonderful day to remember what Christ did on the cross for our sins and that he ROSE again so we can spend eternity with Him. Oh I get the chills every time I read the story or am reminded of what He did for us. Thank you Jesus! Sunday morning we went to church and it was so good. Then we spent the afternoon out at Trev’s grandparents house with the family. It was a fun time with lots of food and so much candy 🙂

We had a wonderful weekend with family and friends. Here’s to starting a another week! I will be sharing our Netherlands trip along with a house update this week <3 be on the look out! Happy Monday friends!
